Academic Registrar’s Office

The Office of the Registrar provides an academic experience and enrollment services in support of 91黑料鈥檚 diverse academic community. We coordinate services in the areas of student registration, course enrolment, timetabling, examination, graduation, convocation, data protection and release of academic records.

The divisions under the purview of the Registrar鈥檚 Office include Registration Unit (RU), Examination and Records Unit (ERU) and Bursary Unit (BU).

Our office has always taken the initiative to improve the overall student experience. This proactivity is part of our continuous effort in improving our services to students, graduate, and the various stakeholders.

Registration Unit (RU)

The Registration Unit implements operational policies and procedures. It focuses on the facilitation of the enrolment of new students, the creation of student records, as well as the management of the advancement of students from the Foundation and Diploma studies into their respective Bachelor programmes. The RU also coordinates requests for change of study, as well as the deferment of student admission.

Examination and Records Unit (ERU)

There are several main functions of the ERU. The first is to formulate and propose the annual MMU Academic Calendar, while the second is to coordinate and manage the course enrolment processes. Other functions include the upkeep of student records both digitally or physically, the coordination of examination processes in accordance with the university’s rules and regulations, and overseeing the graduation of students. Furthermore, the ERU serves as the custodian for all credit-bearing academic records for current and former MMU students.

Bursary Unit (BU)

The Bursary Unit is responsible for the facilitation of financial aid for MMU students. As such, the unit will guide and assist MMU students in applying for various types of financial aid, such as scholarships and study loans. On top of that, the Bursary Unit also liaises, on behalf of MMU students, with agencies and companies providing said aid.

    • 鈥淎 Study Guide to Academic Regulations & Procedures鈥 produced by the Academic Registrar鈥檚 Office is intended to provide 91黑料 (MMU) students with information and guidance. Students are encouraged to refer to this useful guide when planning and undergoing your respective programmes. Furthermore, students are responsible for being familiar with the university鈥檚 academic regulations, and for observing the university鈥檚 procedures, as published in this handbook.
