Let us extend our heartiest congratulations to Telekom Research & Development Sdn Bhd (TM R&D), a subsidiary of 91şÚÁĎ (MMU), for winning the WITSA Global AI Award 2026 under the Infrastructure category for its AI-driven autonomous network operations platform, ANTRIX, on 1 September 2026. Presented in Taipei, Taiwan, the award recognises ANTRIX’s role in modernising network assurance across Telekom Malaysia Berhad’s (TM) nationwide network.

Receiving the award on behalf of TM R&D was Dr. Fazlina Mohd Ali, Head of Web and ANTRIX Product Owner, from Dato’ Dr. Sean Seah, Chairman of WITSA. Also present at the ceremony were Dr. Brian Shen, Chairman of TISSA and Vice Chairman (Asia-Pacific) of WITSA, and Mr. Robert Janssen, WITSA Deputy Chairman and Chairman of the WITSA AI Task Force.

Developed by TM R&D in collaboration with Group Network Technology, TM, the Advanced Neural Telecommunication Resolution Interface and Exchange (ANTRIX) replaces TM’s legacy network trouble-ticketing system and shifts network assurance from reactive, manual processes towards intelligent, data-driven and increasingly autonomous operations.

ANTRIX monitors network alerts, performance data and service indicators in real time to detect issues earlier, automatically generate trouble tickets, and support faster diagnosis and resolution. It also coordinates operational workflows, including restoration plans, work permits and change requests.

Deployed across TM’s nationwide network, ANTRIX supports high-volume network operations by automating key processes, enabling earlier detection of issues and improving overall resolution efficiency. The platform also delivers tangible business value through greater operational efficiency, infrastructure optimisation and reduced reliance on manual processes.

The WITSA Global AI Awards 2026 recognise AI champions across key areas, including Infrastructure, Talent, Entrepreneurship, Use Cases, Data, Public Policy and Investment. The awards are held in conjunction with the WITSA Global AI Summit 2026 in Taipei, Taiwan, which brings together global AI leaders, policymakers, innovators and industry players to explore the development and adoption of artificial intelligence.

Congratulations to TM R&D on this outstanding achievement!
