A virtual sharing session titled “Defining the Next Era of Business Ethics” was conducted on 4 June 2026, attracting approximately 160 students. The programme provided participants with valuable insights into the evolving role of ethics in modern business environments and the importance of ethical leadership in sustaining organizational success.

The session was organised by Mr. Amir Ikhwan through the Structured iCadet Programme in collaboration with the Bank Islam Youth Ambassador (BIYA) initiative under Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad.  The event featured two distinguished speakers from Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad, namely Ms. Norlieyana, Officer-in-Charge, Group Chief Human Resources Officer, and Ms. Nur’aiman, Employer Branding Specialist, Group Human Resources.

Both speakers shared their professional experiences and perspectives on the importance of integrity, accountability, transparency, and responsible decision-making in today’s rapidly changing business landscape. Throughout the session, participants were exposed to current ethical challenges faced by organizations and the growing expectations placed upon future professionals to uphold strong ethical standards. The speakers also highlighted the role of values-driven leadership in building trust and long-term organizational sustainability.

Overall, the programme provided students with valuable exposure to real-world ethical challenges, deepening their understanding of business ethics and reinforcing the importance of integrity, accountability, and professionalism in the workplace. The session was conducted under the guidance of Ms. Fatin Zaida Zaidi, with the support of Ms. Nurul Atiah Mohd Zin, Mr. Alvis Chan Man Seong, Dr. Muhammad Afif Fathullah, and Ms. Sharifah Ummu Naqiah.
