We are pleased to share that the Faculty of Cinematic Arts (FCA) celebrated two notable achievements at the Taylor’s University Film Festival (TUFF) on 21 November 2025.

FCA’s short film Blooming Stone received the Best Actress Award, with Sze Rong Chan recognised for her portrayal of Siew An, a young girl living through the challenges of wartime Malaysia. Her performance stood out among this year’s nominees.

Another FCA film, The Conclusion, directed by Sashwin Chandrasegeran, received an Honorable Mention. The film’s simple yet heartfelt story of a father and son reconnecting resonated with the audience. These achievements reflect FCA’s ongoing efforts in guiding students to produce meaningful and well-crafted cinematic work.
