The Faculty of Business (FOB) successfully organised three virtual research workshops for academics and postgraduate students from both private and public varsities, recently. The invited speakers were Dr. Kenny Cheah Soon Lee, a senior lecturer in Universiti Malaya (UM); Assoc. Prof. Dr. Imran Mahmud, Vice President for Research, Extension, and Quality Assurance, City College of Angeles and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lee Chin, a senior lecturer from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).
Dr. Kenny conducted the workshop entitled 鈥淚ntroduction to the Qualitative Research using ATLAS.ti Cloud鈥, which it is a powerful software as it helps the researcher to create an analytical system of nodes for coding and interpreting the qualitative data. While Assoc. Prof. Dr. Imran was invited for a hands-on workshop related to Business Analytics for Industry (Web Analytics, Descriptive Analytics and Prediction Analytics). Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lee Chin talked about 鈥楶hD Disasters and How to Avoid Them鈥 and the participants learned more tips on how to prepare themselves to complete their postgraduate studies. During the virtual workshop sessions, several interests were raised by the participants.
