Invited by the Korean Society in Malaysia, KSI MMU participated in a three-day event of the 2021 Metaverse Korea Day in Kuala Lumpur, recently.  It was the first time Korean Day was held on the Metaverse platform and the event was accessible by visitors around the world. KSI MMU supported the event by screening a greeting from Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, the President of MMU, and the videos from the K-Pop Cover Dance Videos.

Coined from the words “meta” (meaning beyond) and “universe”, Metaverse is a virtual space where visitors can create their own digital avatars to feel, explore, and interact with others in their own virtual environment.   This year’s event featured Korea Webtoon (Online Comic), Korea LAN tour (Online Tour), Korean Junior club presentation, and Malaysian K-Dance Video screening.
