BCS AI Students Explore Innovation at ITEX 2026
Melaka, 22 May 2026 — A group of 50 students from Bachelor of Computer Science AI set off early this morning on an educational expedition to the International Invention, Innovation & Technology Exhibition (ITEX) 2026, marking a significant step in their academic and innovation journey.
Departing at 7:30 AM in two buses, the students were accompanied by Mr Poh Li Zhe, Mr Alvin Lim and Ms Pa Pa Min as they headed to one of the region’s most prestigious innovation exhibitions. ITEX, known for showcasing over 200 cutting-edge projects from inventors, researchers, and entrepreneurs worldwide, offered the students a unique opportunity to witness real-world innovations firsthand.
During the visit, students took on the role of evaluators, judging at least three projects using official criteria. The experience aims to sharpen their critical thinking, improve presentation skills, and inspire better project design.
